GOES-8 Water Vapor image

This image, taken by GOES-8 (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) on
23 September 1994, shows atmospheric water vapor observed at a wavelength of 6.7
microns. 

The image was produced by F. Hasler, D. Chesters, M. Jentoft, and K. Palaniappan (
NASA/Goddard) and T. Nielsen (Univ. of Hawaii).
