Description:

STS-29 Discovery, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 103, Mission Specialist (MS) Robert 
C. Springer, wearing navy blue launch and entry suit (LES) and launch and 
entry helmet (LEH), participates in JSC crew compartment trainer (CCT) 
exercises.  MS Springer is seated in mission specialist seat on CCT
middeck,  the position he will occupy during the entry phase of flight. 
Behind  Springer is the closed airlock hatch and stowed treadmill.  The
crew escape  system (CES) pole extends overhead from starboard wall to side
hatch.  On  Springer's left is the galley.  CCT is located in JSC Mockup
and Integration  Laboratory Bldg 9A.  Photo was taken by Bill Bowers of
